11/16/07: Lex Persona would like to thank all the people who have visited our booth at the Solutions DEMAT'2007 tradeshow, on November 13, 14 and 15 despite the difficult traffic conditions. These 3 days were an opportunity for Lex Persona to present its last of kin: LP7SignatureServer, an online secure digital signature platform. The show was also an opportunity to put on a draw for an unlimited software license of LP7Creator. The lucky winner was Ludovic L. from a large property management firm based in Toulouse.

10/15/07: LP7Creator v2.0.2 has been successfully validated by the Banking Commission of the French National Bank. Several banks and credit institutions use LP7Creator v2.0.2 to sign their BAFI and XBRL regulatory reporting and benefit from the SRF utility for entering their signing rights form very easily.

10/08/07: LP7Creator and LP7Signer available on Mac OS X! Lex Persona is proud to announce the availability of its flagship products LP7Creator and LP7Signer for creating, signing and verifying digital evidences for the Apple environment. LP7Creator and LP7Signer on Mac OS X require version 10.2 or above.

10/05/07: Lex Persona will have the pleasure to welcome you to the Demat' Solutions show, November 13, 14 and 15, at the CNIT building in Paris la Défense, together with Imaterialis, a consultancy services company specialized in digital document engineering, immaterial communications and digital evidence conservation. The show will be an opportunity to give you an exclusive presentation of our most recent version of LP7SignatureServer, Lex Persona's online signature platform.

03/05/07: For the first time at Documation 2007 at the XEROX Docushare stand (F18-E19) and presented by its partner Abildoc: DocuShare Sign, a digital signature solution integrated into the workflow capabilities of DocuShare. Associated with any document, DocuShare Sign provides the ability to quickly and simply create signature workflows between several signatories. DocuShare Sign was developed with Lex Persona's LP7Developer development kit.

01/02/06: At the beginning of this new year, all the Lex Persona staff sends its best wishes to its customers, partners and to all the people who have supported the launch of the company and its development.

12/20/05: The Specification and Verification Laboratory (LSV), an entity jointly funded by the 'Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan', the 'Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique' and the 'Institut National de Recherche en Informatique et Automatique', has released its conclusions concerning the formal analysis of the LP7 file format. As Steve Kremer, researcher at LSV, concludes from his study: "... the LP7 file format is a very robust format against "logical" attacks (conceptual attacks, independant of implementation). In particular we have proven a property of integrity: an attacker cannot forge a signature for an arbitrary document, even if he has the right to obtain signatures for any other document".

12/05/05: LP7Creator and LP7Signer 1.31 are available!

This version provides consistency control between the signer's certificate (revocation status, validity dates) and the dates of the signature and timestamping of the document. Also a new button allows the current LP7 document to be sent with Outlook 2003. Support of other mailers is planned for a future release.

11/08/05: LP7Creator and LP7Signer 1.3 are available! This version provides the display of the revocation status of certificates for whom the certification authority provides distribution points of certificate revocation lists (CRL).

10/20/05: Lex Persona was present at the national french lawyer convention in Marseille.

10/10/05: LP7Creator and LP7Signer 1.2 are available!

With the acquisition of a JCE toolkit licence from IAIK for managing cryptographic tokens, Lex Persona makes its software compatible with the most common version of Java (1.4).

Also this new release offers the automatic viewing of the original content of an LP7 document when it is opened, thus allowing the use of the software more intuitive.

09/29/05: Lex Persona and Banctec have been pre-selected as candidates for the prize of the IE-Club's Observatory of the relationship between big companies and innovative small and medium businesses. Click here for more information.

08/22/05: LP7Creator and LP7Signer version 1.1 for Windows are available!

This new release offers the following new features:

- declaration of a personal signature located on a cryptograpic token PKCS#11 compatible (smart cards, iKey tokens from Safenet, ...), or in an external file in PKCS#12 format (example: USB flash disk);

- new decorator structure more reliable and more flexible;

- automatic resizing of decorator images;

- decorator display in all signature wizards;

- improved display of the signature tree.

06/28/05: Atelier BNP-Paribas

Thanks to the 40 people who responded to our invitation to our seminar organized at the Atelier BNP-Paribas on June 28, 2005.

This seminar showed the advantages of a web interface for signing digital documents on line, its applications and the benefits of the LP7 file format introduced by Lex Persona.

This presentation showcased customer case studies in the fields of e-administration and digital invoicing applications.

During this seminar, Isabelle Renard, a lawyer from August & Debouzy gave a presentation on the topic of the digital original, its definition in legal terms and the impact of the French ordinance n°2005-674 of June 16, 2005.
