Electronic signature
"simple
- No electronic signature by the signatory.
- No verification of the signatory's identity.
- eIDAS-qualified electronic transaction stamp with a certificate in Lex Persona's name.
When to use it
It is suitable for legal acts that present a low or higher level of risk, when supplemented by additional means of proof proportionate to the risk, as well as to the level of identification/authentication of the signatory and document retention.
Advanced electronic signature
- Signature with a certificate issued "on the fly" in the signatory's name and verification of identity.
- Signature with an ETSI EN 319 411-1-compliant "on-the-fly" certificate at LCP level in the signatory's name, and verification of his/her ID.
When to use it
It is suitable for legal documents with a medium level of risk. This level of signature offers the best compromise in terms of security, cost, ease of use and implementation.
Qualified electronic signature
- Signature with a certificate issued "on the fly" in compliance with ETSI EN 319 411-2 at QCP-n-qscd level in the signatory's name, based on authentication with his La Poste Digital ID.
- Signature with a certificate issued on a physical medium in compliance with ETSI EN 319 411-2 at QCP-n-qscd level in the signatory's name, based on face-to-face verification of his/her identity document.
When to use it
It is suitable for legal acts involving a high level of risk. It is the most secure of all electronic signatures, and the only one to offer the same legal value as a handwritten signature in all EU member states.
